A single warm cove, profile and LED tape, is 460 ₪ a linear metre. Fitted strips on open 2026 lists run about 389–589 ₪ a metre. Ten metres is 4,600 ₪, of which 701.69 ₪ is VAT. A cove around a whole room can cost as much as the membrane. We say so at the visit, before you approve.
| Item | Guide, VAT included | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Spotlight opening | 120 ₪ each | We cut the film and fit the ring. The lamp is separate. Lists show an opening from about 45 ₪ and a fitted spot near 100 ₪. |
| Chandelier plate | 220 ₪ each | A reinforced plate so a hanging light does not load the film. |
| Detector or sprinkler | 80 ₪ each | An opening only. We do not move a sprinkler head. |
| Extra star engine | 1,450 ₪ | A second engine when the field is larger than 14 m². The first engine is inside the star rate. |
Fibre points are pricked and set one by one. The engine sits in the void where it can be reached. Fibres do not carry mains voltage to the ceiling face. Heat stays at the engine, which is why the engine is not buried where nobody can change it.
Cutting a hole for a lamp is not, by itself, a building permit. A new point, a driver in the void, or the supply to a fibre engine has to be done by a licensed electrician under the Electricity Law, 5714-1954, and the standard that applies to that circuit. In a shared building the house committee may ask to be told when work touches a riser or a shaft. At the visit we say whether the electrician has to come before we order the film.
An air-conditioning diffuser can sit in the membrane on a support plate, or the air can leave through a slot in a bulkhead. The indoor unit stays reachable. We coordinate the cut with whoever services the machine. A vent throwing hard across a long span can lift the film, so the throw is kept off the field. We do not relocate condensers, and we do not certify the air-conditioning.
Condensation is a different problem, mostly in bathrooms. It is described on the visit page, because it depends on the room we measure.
